Kite Beach

Kite Beach is where Cabarete earns its reputation: one of the best kitesurfing beaches in the world, lined with condos built for people who want the ocean as their front yard.

Expect rental-friendly buildings, a steady stream of international visitors from December through August, and the strongest short-term rental market in town. Condos start in the high US$100s, with most two-bedroom stock from US$200K and beachfront premiums above that. If you are buying for Airbnb income or you want to walk barefoot from your door to the water, this is the strip. Trade-off: high season is lively, and you will hear the music some nights.

Real talk about Kite Beach

Is Kite Beach a good investment for Airbnb?

It is the strongest short-term rental market in Cabarete. Most condo buildings near Kite Beach are rental-friendly, demand runs December through April with a second bump in summer, and well-run units achieve 50 to 70 percent annual occupancy. Always confirm the building bylaws allow short stays before buying.

Is Kite Beach noisy?

Livelier than Encuentro or Perla Marina, especially in high season when the beach bars and kite schools are at full tilt. A street or two back from the beach it calms down considerably. If silence is the priority, look at Encuentro instead.

What does a condo cost on Kite Beach?

Entry-level condos start in the high US$100,000s, with most two-bedroom stock from US$200,000 and beachfront or newer buildings priced higher. New luxury oceanfront projects run from roughly US$500,000 into the millions.
